Every giving in the house of God is a demonstration of our love for God. It is an offering in your conscious you are rendering to God.
It is impossible to please God without faith. Every giving is a recognition of His divinity that He is God, not man. Nobody is rich enough to sponsor God. The feeling that God cannot do without you is deceptive. For everything God has given you to do, He has an alternative.
What makes us effective?
It is His grace. Everything you give to God is always an offering: Gifts you give to men.When you understand that He is the creator then you understand that you are a steward. Every offering in the house of God creates an opportunity for us. It keeps you within the financial system of God.
We have two systems:
- The worldly system
- The divine system.
It takes power to be successful not opportunities.
Deuteronomy 8:18[NLT] Always remember that it is the LORD your God who gives you power to become rich, and he does it to fulfill the covenant he made with your ancestors.
We give in the house of God because it is a requirement.
Proverbs 3:9-10[MSG]Honor GOD with everything you own; give him the first and the best.Your barns will burst, your wine vats will brim over.
Honor God with everything you have. Our offerings in the house of God are a response to His word.
Leviticus 27:28[NLT] “However, anything specially set apart by the LORD–whether a person, an animal, or an inherited field–must never be sold or redeemed. Anything devoted in this way has been set apart for the LORD as holy.
Numbers 18:8-9[KJV] And thou shalt bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together: And thou shalt bring the Levites before the LORD: and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites:
Proverbs 3:9[KJV]Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: (KJV)
It is the blessing of the Lord that protects us.
Ezekiel 44 :30[MSG]The best of everything grown, plus all special gifts, comes to the priests. All that is given in worship to GOD goes to them. Serve them first. Serve from your best and your home will be blessed.
Who should receive the offering on His behalf?
The priest is ordained by God to receive His offerings.
Should I give in the house of God [tithes offering etc.] and it is not used in the correct way?
It means you are hypocritical. That your money is not being used in the correct way is an excuse.
Where should we take our offering?
Deuteronomy 12:11-12[KJV]11 – Then there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the LORD:12 – And ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God, ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your menservants, and your maidservants, and the Levite that is within your gates; forasmuch as he hath no part nor inheritance with you.
In the church where His name dwells.
2 Corinthians 9:6-7[NLT]6 Remember this–a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop.7 You must each make up your own mind as to how much you should give. Don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves the person who gives cheerfully.
Don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure: God loves a cheerful giver. See beyond the need of the church and of the priest.When you come to a place that you won’t offer in the church because it is not being used correctly: you have spiritual pride.When you decide to give to the Lord be careful to whom you consult.It takes revelation to give to the Lord.
There are two dimensions of giving.
•Things on your end that you have decided to do which include-
1.Free will offering
You decide whether to or not to give and not feel guilty.
- Love offering.
It is mostly powered by revelation.
Philippians 4:15[NLT] As you know, you Philippians were the only ones who gave me financial help when I brought you the Good News and then traveled on from Macedonia. No other church did this.
A) Things you have received a revelation from your end .
1.Special offering-which is deeper than love offering.
It is the divine way of receiving a prophet.This one is given according to the revelation you have received from your end. They open new channels in your life. They act as an insurance cover.
Psalms 20:1-3[NLT]1 -In times of trouble, may the LORD respond to your cry.2- May he send you help from his sanctuary and strengthen you from Jerusalem. 3- Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.
Sometimes the offering given in the days of trouble is good; but late.
Be very careful with late revelations. You have to be tough to make a move in the things of the kingdom.

B) Giving that is from God’s side which includes- First fruit ,Tithe,Vows
If you are going to see a move in your life, you have to know the truth of sacrifice.
